SAP contracts digitally signed in DocuSign
Our Life Science customer with 3`600 employees worldwide uses different systems to run its business activities: Salesforce, SAP CRM, SAP ERP, SAP Vistex, SAP BW and integrated cloud services such as DocuSign.
OpenText Content Server is used as the central document management system (DMS) with various extensions/modules such as Extended ECM for Salesforce, Extended ECM for SAP Solutions and OpenText Regulated Documents.
As part of this project, we will build a process that will allow contracts generated in SAP to be signed via DocuSign. Contracts are already created in and generated in SAP with SAP Vistex, SAP extension for contract management. The generated contract document shall be synchronized to the DMS system automatically along with the SAP related metadata.
When the internal contract approval is finished, the contract is sent automatically for signature by an external party via DocuSign. Once the document is signed, the system will report the status back to SAP to trigger the next step in the SAP Vistex Workflow.
